Human Resource Management (HRM) may be defined as managing human elements (such as employers, employees, staffs, owners, workers) who are directly involved with the organization to achieve organizational goals and objects. These human elements are considered as the resources because they contribute themselves for the organization and the society as a whole. Human Resource Management outlines the importance of HRM and its different functions in an organization. It examines the various HR processes that are concerned with attracting, managing, motivating and developing employees for the benefit of the organization. Administrative activities associated with human resources planning, recruitment, selection, orientation, training, appraisal, motivation, remuneration, etc. HRM aims at developing people through work. Human Resource Management is a modern version of personnel management. It is concerned with the "people" dimension in management. Since every organization is made up of people, acquiring their services, developing their skills, motivating them to high levels of performance, and ensuring that they continue to maintain their commitment to the organizations are essential to achieving organizational objectives. The historical role of Human Resources has changed dramatically since its inception in the early 1900s.
